Harpsichord in good working order! in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire for sale
I have accumulated far too many keyboard instruments, and am downsizing prior to my retirement. This is a nice one manual instrument - 2 x 8' stops, and probably made from a David Boulton kit. All is as it should be, and it is tuned to concert pitch and plays fine on all notes. I had intended to flatten out and paint the case a deep maroon, but did not get around to it. The stand is not a work of art, but erects very quickly on a hinged arrangement. I had intended to make a double gatelegged affair, but did not get around to it! If you want a top class French copy, this is not for you - but then you would need to add a couple of zeros to the price. Length: 70.5 inches. Width: 31" bare. It is not heavy. Any inspection welcome at Ross-on-Wye: a nice starter harpsichord and lots of fun for little outlay compared to a new kit! Open to near offer......
